It’s wednesday – it’s the middle of a normal, endless work-week, so why not take some time to delve into stuff, perhaps get a bit wiser, a bit more knowledgeable… no matter what – here’s stuff…

One of the things at the recent Roadburn Festival I would have loved partaking in was the panels – there were some interesting ones… Steve Von Till and Scott Kelly discussing 30 years of Neurosis, industry professionals discussing the impact of technology on  the record industry, and of course Kurt Ballou and Nate Newton discussing Jane Doe. Be that as it may, there was so much great music I was unable to tear my self away from (and I’m not really complaining), so it’s nice that there is at least this recording of a discussion of the making of Jane Doe, from the Berkley School Of Music in Boston – it’s from 2013.

And just for the fun of it – here’s a clip of Jane Doe (the track) from that Roadburn performance… (the extra guitar-work is courtesy of Stephen Brodsky) – and just for the record: KoenG has a lot of other really great videos from this year’s Roadburn (as well as previous editions) – do check out his YouTube Channel)
